Redirect Client traffic to the SWG Appliance

On our lab client we have SCP already installed. Next, we will configure the SCP to redirect the traffic to our SWG Appliance.

  1. On your local machine (not the remote desktop), return to the Skyhigh Cloud browser tab (or log in again )
  2. Click on the “gear icon” -> Infrastructure -> Client Proxy Management

  1. Select Configuration Policies -> Default Policy and change the Primary Gateway to Student Lab Appliance (your onPrem SWG)

  1. Click Save and publish your change (Yellow shield)

Configure SCP Authentication on the SWG Appliance

In our lab use case we will redirect traffic to the SWG appliance using SCP. Also, we will use SCP to, authenticate the user. Next, we will configure the appliance policy to decrypt the SCP header and to extract the authentication data.

  1. Go to Policy -> Authentication with SCP (onPrem) and click Show details

  1. Click on the SCP Link in the “Verify Headers” Rule

  1. Enter the Customer ID and Shared password from the XML you downloaded the steps before and click OK and Save Changes
